Eric Brohm, SVP, CISO, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts
Eric Brohm is SVP and Chief Information Security Officer at Wyndham Hotels and Resorts, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. With Wyndham since 2012, Eric has been charged with keeping Wyndham data secure from the ever-growing cyber-threats, while ensuring compliance with an increased number of regulations. With teams that protect Wyndham’s assets and data globally, he has successfully developed and implemented the company’s Cyber-Incident Response strategy, as well as sophisticated company-wide defenses combining threat hunting, vulnerability management, and behavioral analysis tools.
Prior to his work with Wyndham, Eric was a member of the Verizon Business (Cybertrust) Incident Response and Forensics Unit between 2006 and 2012. In this role, he led many high-profile computer forensic investigations in both civil and well as criminal matters, working closely with the FBI, US Secret Service, and the Department of Homeland Security. Outside of the investigative work, Eric also worked closely with various industries to educate and provide guidance on security best practices.
A graduate of Rutgers University, he lives in New Jersey with his wife Sarah and their four children.
