Cory Mazzola is an accomplished security executive with over twenty years of experience managing global cybersecurity centers, building enterprise risk management programs and leading distributed cross-functional teams. He leads global cybersecurity operations for a Fortune 500 firm overseeing global incident response, threat intelligence, digital forensics, eDiscovery, data loss prevention, investigations, engineering and Security Operations Center (SOC) management.
Mazzola has served in leadership and advisory roles with many industry-leading organizations such as IBM, Verizon, General Dynamics, Computer Sciences Corporation, FireEye / Mandiant, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Amgen, University of Maryland and the Royal Bank of Canada. He holds a master of science in Information Assurance, bachelor of science in Information Systems Management and several leading industry certifications – GIAC/GPEN, CISSP, C|CISO, MCSE, etc.
He has served a Professor with the University of Maryland, Fellow at the Tuck School of Business and Management Instructor with the SANS Institute. Additionally, he holds advanced degrees and credentials from Harvard University, Cornell, Carnegie Mellon, Stanford, Northwestern, Wharton School of Business, Norwich University, University of Maryland and Dartmouth College.
